Column A which contains Japanese characters is set to smaller width than
expected.

Does this only happen for SXSSF, or does it happen for XSSF and HSSF too? If
SXSSF only, how are you setting up the column size tracking?

Do you have the relevant Asian fonts installed on your machine *and* properly
available to Java?

No additional information provided for a long time and we cannot properly
reproduce this with the amount of information given, thus I have to cose this
for now, please reopen with more information and source-code which reproduces
the problem.
